Welcome to the Willmar Lakes Area in beautiful Kandiyohi County!

On behalf of the Willmar Lakes Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, I would like to welcome you to the Lakes Area!

Whether you are here on business, with a convention, or vacationing in the area, please enjoy all the wonderful amenities our area has to offer. The Lakes Areas has sparkling lakes, scenic bike trails, beautiful parks, specialty shops, golf courses, and a variety of attractions and accommodations to make your stay an enjoyable one!

One or my favorite attractions is Green Lake Cruises!! They offer a variety of different cruise options, and provide the perfect way to enjoy your day on scenic Green Lake. No stay in the Willmar Lakes Area is complete without a cruise on the "Dannyboy"! You can also head to Sibley State Park, watch a Little Crow Ski Team Show, take in a Willmar Stingers baseball game, bike along the Glacial Lakes Trail, take in a round of golf, or sample great wine at the Glacial Ridge Winery. The activities and choices are endless in the Willmar Lakes Area.

While in the Spicer area, don't forget to check out Lone Tree Board & Paddle. They offer stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals as well as wakesurfing, wakeboarding, and waterskiing lessons behind our inboard tow boat.
